In light of the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team

In the light of the recent attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team and ICC officials, I feel compelled, as do many others to voice an irritated opinion.

For so many years now India has asked the Pakistani administrations that have come and gone to look into the immense terror network built up inside its borders. As the years have passed, the number of countries backing India’s claims have grown, along with the number of terrorist training camps and infrastructure.

These last attacks on Mumbai and Lahore have now given more than the required proof of what has been said over the last decade.

I have nothing against the Pakistani people. Nothing whatsoever. It is the administrators that I have a problem with. You people seem to think that a show of power will keep your respect from others intact, but I tell you today, this is a false notion. GIVE IT UP TODAY. By trying to play hardball with those who don’t want to, you’re not only alienating yourself diplomatically, economically and socially, but you’re asking for trouble.

Stop blaming terrorism on other countries when you know for a fact that your own ISI is breeding and feeding terror on your soil, with public monies that, and trust me on this, most definitely could be put to much, much, much better use.

Open your eyes. Your people have done so a long time ago. If you want a country left to rule, listen, learn, ask for help and act.

On another note, for the sake of sanity and good sense, WILL THE PAKISTANI POLICE PLEASE USE GLOVES OR AT THE VERY LEAST A HANKY WHILE HANDLING EVIDENCE? AND NO PLASTIC BAGS FROM A MARKET PEOPLE!!!! USE A ZIP-LOCK BAG AT LEAST!!!!

With such scant regard for evidence, no wonder you can’t handle it when others give you properly preserved evidence.

Please remember my dear friends in power in Pakistan, and to anyone else reading this – Knowledge is strength supreme. Learn all you can, act on what you’ve learnt, and don’t be so proud of yourselves that you can’t ask for help, because everyone needs it at some point.

  1. True, very true is what you write, and in no way do i absolve my own nation or any of its administrations at all. We have a miserable state of affairs to deal with, and I’m sure that you can make that out easily. For crying out loud, news channels are debating on whether the IPL or the Elections will get more attention or footfalls from the public. Stupidity is what I call it.
The situation involving India and Sri Lanka is no less pointless than that of Kashmir, or anywhere and anything else in the world. Humanity’s core, and especially (I say this openly, challenge me anyone) an Indian’s core is hypocrisy.
If we stop turning a blind eye to what’s in our own backyard, then, and only then can we deal with what’s in someone else’s.
I may be targeted for saying this, but I love the Pakistani people. I hold nothing against them and see no reason why anyone should.
The general people want only peace. It is those few “morons” who think that only their view is right. Tyrants have come, stood tall, only to fall under their own weight. The human tendency is toward freedom. Oppression in any form, including terrorism by anyone and anywhere, will not be tolerated, especially when the targets are those who merely try to bridge the gaps that divide us.

  2. My dear,
Ofcourse Indian version of peace comes from there master”Asoka”, who when satisfied with splitting the blood of millions, called it a day and moved toward peace, ofcourse when his feets were half in grave.
Neither any Pakistani or our administration wants thing to revert to the past order, but for that you in India have to realize. How many of you were killed in Mumbai, 200, we really felt like it was the most cruel episode, but what about the 17000 Pakistanis dead by the support of RAW to the rogue elements in Pakistan, you keep on strengthening them and when your turn comes, you start saying Pakistan is irresponsible.
Go back to history, thats what US did in early 1980,s. There own creation of JIhadis struck them 0n 9/11.
The recent episode of Sri Lanka is none other that RAW. Before jumping to your conclusion, just read the history of Indian intrestes and involvement in Sri Lanka. We do not want war but we love our land, and you have seen time and time again how we defend.
My best wishes to all those who want peace in South Asia, but this cannot be achieved by totally ignoring the facts, it is called appeasement
